South Asia Studies at the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies cordially invites you to attend a talk by Dr. Abraham George. He will discuss the topic of bringing about a sustainable impact on poverty through education. Through his many accomplishments in poverty alleviation, education, health, women’s empowerment and freedom of the press, Dr. George has worked in directly in combating poverty and bringing about social justice. This lecture will provide for an exciting opportunity for those in the Washington DC area to listen to an insightful discussion on methods in bringing about change.
